Canadian users (PIPEDA)
We rely on express or implied consent. You may withdraw consent at any time. In limited circumstances, applicable law may permit processing without consent — for example, fraud investigations, business transactions, or legal proceedings.

Section 05
How do we handle your social logins?
When you choose to register or log in using a third-party social account (such as Facebook or X), we receive certain profile information — typically your name, email address, and profile picture — depending on what you have made public on that platform.
We use this information only for the purposes described in this notice. We are not responsible for how the social media provider uses your data. We recommend reviewing their own privacy policy.
Section 06
Is your information transferred internationally?
Our primary servers and operations are based in Canada. If you are accessing our Services from outside Canada — particularly from the EEA, UK, or Switzerland — your data may be transferred to, stored, and processed in Canada or other jurisdictions that may have different data protection standards than your own country.
In all cases, we take appropriate safeguards to protect your personal information in accordance with this privacy notice and applicable law, including using standard contractual clauses where required.
Section 07
How long do we keep your information?
We retain personal information only for as long as it is needed for the purposes described in this notice, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law (such as for tax, accounting, or compliance obligations).
When we have no ongoing legitimate need to process your information, we will delete or anonymise it — or, where that is not immediately possible (e.g. data stored in backup archives), we will isolate it from further use until deletion is possible.
Section 08
How do we keep your information safe?
We have implemented reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. However, no system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee that hackers or cybercriminals will never be able to defeat our safeguards.
Transmission of personal information to and from our Services is at your own risk. You should only access the Services in a secure environment.
Section 09
Do we collect information from minors?
We do not knowingly collect, solicit, or market to children under 18 years of age. By using our Services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, or that you are a parent or guardian who has consented to a dependent's use of the Services.
If we discover that we have collected personal information from a user under 18, we will deactivate the account and promptly delete the data. If you become aware of any such data, please contact us at support@platterhub.ai.
